final outcome analysis
My main influence for my final outcome is Jean Luc Godard. For my archived feature i have used the visuals from his film 2 or 3 things i know about her. I decided to choose this film due to the un-conventional narrative of it. The film follows the story about its protagonist. As well as diegetic sounds the film is constructed through non- dietetic dialogue from Godard him self. The audience is presented to his voice over on top of the visuals, we hear him discussing his thoughts about the world we live in, love, relationships and his own personal inner thoughts. I would say the film is a self reflective video essay and gives us a look inside of his head. The film offered me visuals which i could use to freely experiment, it allowed me to offer a fresh perspective of girlhood. As being a well known figure of the french new wave, Godard's films helps the viewers understand my final outcome and contextualise it through the inclusion my first person dialogue.
