Wolf Alice Visual Response

VISUAL REFERENCE.
One of my chosen references is the music video for Wolf Alice's' Heavenward as the video inspired me to use a projector within my project. I have interpreted re-mage to be a body of work that has been created by something I've already exists in this case I used my photographs from a gig and used the projects re work the image through a moving image. This reference closely links with my background images of the moving image as the body of work as an entirely has a musical theme.  Within the start of the video the projections of the band members self's playing on stage has been used to present their past versions manifesting in their minds and as they are staying still during this shot I thought of using still image within my own work. However, I have also included a dancer within my moving image as I wanted to visualise the image in from of a dance layered with audio.
AUDIO REFERENCE.
I have also used the band as an audio reference   by overlaying their songs within the moving image. I have used 2 two songs of their album ( Yuk Foo and Fluffy) these songs hold an upbeat tempo which allowed the dancer to created fats paced moved which also enabled me to add tempo of the lighting and utilise all of the lighting equipment within the studio. This high tempo has also been maintained throughout the editing as its very fast paced, this was important as I wanted them to be short and spontaneous clips.

FLUFFY MUSIC VIDEO REFERNCE.
I have decided to use this music video for my re-imagine body of work  and once again I have used wolf Alice as one of my reference as the band has recently resonated with me deeply and making a response to their music seemed like  a natural response.  Fluffy was one of the first songs they wrote as a band and the music video is one of their earlier works and this is one of the reasons I wanted to re-work it as they have progressed as a band and through the implementation of the layering and projections the visuals have aligned with what the band has begun today. The music video provided me with the perfect tempo as the tense pace built up throughout the video, at the start I decided to keep the into unedited so that the viewer would be manipulated into thinking they are watching the original music video or kept under the mystery which will raise a few enigma questions.
