Gig photographs.

The image were taken during a gig I went to which has been shot on film which is what gave me the initial idea of using a projection. The images have allowed for me to make a powerful link to my final outcome by creating a musical theme throughout.  I chose these particular images as within the imagery the musicians are playing instruments and through this project I wanted to add an audio element for the viewer to envision what the gig would've been like. It was important for me to include these images within the project as I wanted images in the final product that were by me so thereby the final product would be an amalgamation of both mine and secondary visuals. The images present here have been used as my background within my moving image. Initially, I was going to use these images and re-work on them through digital manipulation or double exposures etc. However, through some research I got the idea of using projection screens to create which has allowed me to successfully create a moving image piece.
